About Lilo & Stitch

So... you stumbled upon this website in some matter or another, perhaps stubbing your big toe on the way, and you're wondering, What the thingy-mah-bob is this guy going on about? What's Lilo & Stitch?

Lilo & Stitch (2002) is the story of Lilo Pelekai (Daveigh Chase, Spirited Away), who lives with her sister Nani (Tia Carrere, Duck Dodgers), and adopts a dog and names him Stitch (Chris Sanders), who turns out to be an alien experiment, who is being hunted for bounty by his creator, Dr. Jumba Jookiba (David Ogden Stiers, M*A*S*H), and self-acclaimed Earth expert Pleakley (Kevin McDonald, Kids in the Hall).

Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has A Glitch (2005) tells of how Lilo tries to be like her mum and win a hula competition. Meanwhile, Stitch is maulfunctioning, and only Jumba knows how to save him. Lilo thinks that Stitch is being 'bad' on purpose. Eventually his glitches worsen, and to protect his 'ohana, Stitch runs away. This is the only Lilo & Stitch movie to feature Dakota Fanning (The Cat In The Hat) as the voice of Lilo.

Stitch! The Movie (2003) is the direct-to-video prequel to the series (see below) and sequel (or spin-off) to Lilo & Stitch. S!TM sees Jumba captured by former financer Jacques von Hämsterviel (Jeff Bennett, Dave The Barbarian), and so, of cause, Lilo & Stitch have to go after them. In the process, they find a mysterious container, which contains the other 625 experiments in dehydrated form, which Hämsterviel then attempts to trade Jumba for, which results in some action, cool sci-fi effects, and humerous banter between Hämsterviel, former captain Gantu (Kevin Michael Richardson, The Batman), the newly 'activated' 625 (Rob Paulson, Goof Troop) and the Computer (Tress MacNeille, Animaniacs), which results in the experiments being scattered all over Hawai'i.

The logical thing would be to gather them all up and 'rehabilitate' them, which is where Lilo & Stitch: The Series (2003-2005) comes in. Lilo, Stitch, Jumba and Pleakley, on behalf of the Galactic Alliance, try to locate the six-hundred and twenty-four dehydrated experiment pods before they get wet (and thus 'rehydrated') and before Gantu, who is now a hired hand for Hämsterviel, gets to them first.

Well, all good things must come to an end some time, right? Leroy & Stitch (2006) is the wrap-up for the series... Hämsterviel forces Jumba to create a new experiment called Leroy (Chris Sanders) to reak havoc on the stinking Galactic Empire! MUHAHAHA... *cough* *hack* What is with these hairballs?!
